Ellie Noir (b. 1991) is a figurative painter based in Adelaide, Australia.
In 2012 she received her BVA from Adelaide Central School of Art and has since undertaken studies at Studio Escalier in France and the Art Students League of New York, USA.
Noir has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards including the Pro Hart Scholarship, Australia Council Art Start Grant, Waterway Fellowship, the Tanza Lorraine Smith Fellowship and the Carbins Trust Prize. Her work has been selected for the Waterhouse Prize, the Kennedy Prize, the RSASA/SALA Portrait Prize, the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, the Fleurieu Biennale and the Art Renewal Center International Salon.
